A cooperation protocol for R&D and technology transfer was signed between Afyon Kocatepe University and Anadolu University (AU) R&D and Innovation Coordination Unit (ARINKOM).
In the written statement made by AKU, AKU Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Solak and Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Anadolu University ARINKOM General Coordinator Prof. Davut Aydın attended the signing ceremony of the protocol. Within the scope of the signed protocol, it was stated that it was aimed to cooperate in the production of knowledge, R&D and innovation activities of both universities that will create added value for the society, development of university-industry cooperation, commercialization of the produced knowledge, and increasing the competitiveness of institutions operating in the region and country.
In the statement, it was stated that the scope of R&D and technology transfer will be determined by organizing activities for information and promotion, and by making joint studies to benefit from national and international grant supports.
“There will be cooperation on Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights, which will cooperate with the strengths of both universities in order to meet the demands from the sector. AKÜ will be supported by ARINKOM on the creation of the entrepreneurship and incorporation eco system. In this context, joint R&D and innovation studies will be carried out by mutual agreements.”
