Desire to TPAO 2017 World Petroleum Congress. Taner Yıldız, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, attended the 2017 World Petroleum Congress nomination reception given by Turkish Petroleum Corporation (Tpao) in South Korea.
At the reception at the convention center where the 22nd World Energy Congress was held, a presentation was made on why Istanbul should be chosen.
Minister Yıldız, in his speech here, said that energy is such an important sector that it cannot be purified from all international relations in the world.
Expressing that an election will be held in Canada for the World Petroleum Congress next week, Yıldız stated that 4 countries, including Turkey, will compete for hosting.
Yıldız said, “I believe and hope that the World Energy Congress will be held in Istanbul in 2016, as well as in 2017, all members will favor and we will organize this organization in Istanbul. We will be happy to see you in our beautiful country like South Korea.”
