"Biochemistry Days" were organized by Sütçü İmam University.

“Biochemistry Days” were held in Kahramanmaraş. "I. Kahramanmaraş Biochemistry Days” started on Thursday, November 7, 2013.

Well-known scientists from many cities of Turkey attended the congress at the Ramada Hotel.
On the first day, KSU Rector Prof. Dr. In the event that started with Fatih Karaaslan's opening speech, Assoc. Dr. Doğan Yücel talked about “Electrophoresis Applications in the Clinical Laboratory”.
Organized on the second day, Prof. Dr. Kıymet Aksoy and Yurdanur Kılıç were the chairman of the board. Dr. M. Akif Çürük presented “Nondeletional Alpha Thalassemias”, Abdullah Arpacı, “Beta Thalassemias” and Yurdanur Kılıç “Diagnosis and Treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia” at the “Hemoglobinopathies” panel in honor of Güneş T. Yüreğir.

In the second panel on "Familial Mediterranean Fever", chaired by Metin Kılınç and Mehmet Şeneş, Nejat Akar talked about "Molecular genetics of Familial Mediterranean Fever", Metin Kılınç, "Evaluation of sequence analysis results of Familial Mediterranean Fever cases in our region", Gözde Yıldırım Çetin. He made his presentations on "Clinical features and current treatment approaches according to mutation types seen in Familial Mediterranean Fever patients".

In the panel on Micra RNAs, chaired by Nilüfer Tamer Gümüş and Bünyamin Kaptanoğlu, Lokman Ayaz presented "Methods Used in the Determination and Evaluation of miRNA Expressions" and Bahadır Ercan "Copy Number Variations in Genomic DNA and Its Importance".
prof. Dr. Edip Keha presented "The Relationship Between Some Carbonic Anhydrase Isoenzymes and Some Cancer Types", and İrfan Küfrevioglu "Expression Analysis of Some Central Metabolic Enzyme Genes in the Mouse Genome" at the "Enzymology" panel organized in honor of Şerafettin Özkurt.

Naciye Kurtul and Perihan Öztürk chaired the session in the panel with a special theme, Serap Yalın, “Nutrition and Cancer”, Fatma İnanç Tolun “New Approaches in the Treatment of Telomerase Enzyme Deficiency”, Ahmet Çelik, “Prolidase Enzyme, Its Importance and Current Approaches”, Hüseyin Kayadibi “ Use of LC-MS/MS in Clinical Laboratories; Pharmaceutical, Amino Acid, Hormone and Vitamin Analysis” presentations were made.
