America's Most Entrepreneurial Universities and Startups. The 2014 results of the Forbes Most Entrepreneurial Universities list, in which Forbes magazine ranks American universities according to their entrepreneurial activities, have been announced.
In the list of 20 universities, which are called start-up schools, the rankings are prepared according to the "entrepreneurship rate" of their universities.
The entrepreneurship rate is calculated as the ratio of students or graduates of a university who identify themselves as founders or business owners on LinkedIn to the number of current students (including graduates).
Forbes lists the top 10 most entrepreneurial universities in America as follows:
1.Stanford University
With the highest entrepreneurship rate, Stanford's students have earned a reputation as entrepreneurs who don't wait to graduate. Here's Google's Serbey Brin and Larry Page; The contributions of Yahoo's Jerry Yang and David Filon and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel are great.
2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
MIT, one of the first universities that comes to mind when it comes to new technologies, draws attention with its educational programs, research centers and competitions dedicated to entrepreneurship. The university, which included Turkey in the Innovators Under 35 competition targeting entrepreneurs under the age of 35 this year, and the 100 thousand dollar Entrepreneurship Competition MIT100K, has created 130 companies and 2 professions so far.
3. University of California, Berkeley
These units at the University of Berkeley, which have three different startup accelerator programs on campus, including the renowned SkyDeck, are the result of collaboration with the research unit of the Haas School of Business and engineering schools.
4.Cornell University

9.PepperdineUniversity
Among the university's entrepreneurial alumni with close ties to the church is eHarmony founder Neil Clark Warren.
10 Dartmouth College
