Pharmacists, chemical engineers, chemists or technicians who have graduated by taking courses related to phytosanitary or agricultural technicians will now be able to obtain a plant protection products dealer or wholesaler permit.
The Regulation Amending the Regulation on Wholesale and Retail Sale and Storage of Plant Protection Products of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock was published in the Official Gazette. According to the regulation that has come into force as of today, the people who will be granted a plant protection products dealer or wholesaler permit will have to be an agricultural engineer, pharmacist, chemical engineer, chemist or a technician or agricultural technician who has graduated by taking courses related to plant health. In the exam to be held or to be made by the Ministry, it will be obligatory to get a score of 100 or more out of 70 full points.
The procedures and principles regarding the exam schedule and the application of the exam will be announced by the Ministry at least three months before the exam date. “Applications for the exam will be made to the provincial directorate at least 45 days before the exam date. Provincial directorate shall notify these applications to the Ministry thirty days before the exam date” has been repealed as of today.
