Mustafa Kandıralı (born in 1930, Kandıra, Kocaeli - Date of death 27 December 2020, Tuzla, Istanbul) is a world-famous clarinettist who made a concert tour in the USA in the 1960s.
He was born in 1930 in Kocaeli's Kandıra district. Mustafa Kandıralı, who escaped from his home in Kandıra at the age of thirteen and came to Istanbul on foot, has put dozens of records and more than 50 cassettes into his art life in more than 20 years. For nearly twenty years, it has become the symbol of joyful holiday mornings with its programs on TRT. He accompanied valuable commentators such as Safiye Ayla, Müzeyyen Senar and Zeki Müren. He created a school in the world of music with his talent, diligence, humorous disposition, and respect for the audience and colleagues. Just to prove that it is not a clarinet player in Turkey and abroad, has gained fans. He played with Louis Armstrong. He participated in concerts and recitals around the world. One of the best clarinet masters he has trained is his nephew Türkan Kandıralı.
He died at the age of 27 due to multiple organ failure due to old age at the Okan University Faculty of Medicine hospital, where he was treated on December 2020, 90. His funeral was buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
